Trains From Castellammare

Trains in the area can look a bit crap. The best example of this is Circumvesuviana. This refers to the railway network around Mount Vesuvius. This line is quite old and the trains are vandalised, smelly, loud and have no air conditioning making them absolute hell to travel on. However the team at EAV noticed this problem and created another line known as the "Campania Express" for us snobs. This follows the exact same route on the same track as the Circumvesuviana trains, except these trains are clean, not smelly, quiet and have air conditioning.

There is also another railway line that goes out of Castellammare, that being Linea 2 of the Naples Urban Rail network.

LINEA 2

Linea 2 is a selection of lines running North - South through the heart of Naples. This line is much faster than Circumvesuviana and also more comfortable. The line hosts a terminus in Castellammare.

But jokes on you, this line isn't even running while we are there!!!
