There are plenty of incredible food options in Naples, but when in Rome (or shall I say Naples) It seems most appropriate to focus on actual Neapolitan food. Most famously, Pizza.

Neapolitan Pizza can be found all over the city, and almost all of it will be good. The most famous pizzeria in Naples is L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele which over the years has become a bit of a landmark.

Naples is also home to many restaurants specialising in Pasta and Spaghetti, another "local dish"

Another thing Naples is known for is it's ice cream, and it wouldn't be difficult in the slightest to find a gelato shop in the city centre.
